After serving for 11 years as the Associate Pastor of Lawrence United Methodist Church, Joseph Johnson is excited about serving in a new role as Lead Pastor.  He is a graduate of the Christian Theological Seminary and served as an Indianapolis Police Chaplain.  Joseph  enjoyes a ministry that crosses age and racial boundaries.  He helped develop the Lawrence Youth Corps and serves as the chaplain for Marquette Retirement Center.

Joseph is married to the lovely and wise Sharon Johnson, who knew she was going to marry him the first time she saw him.  They have three wonderful children.  Joseph enjoys preaching and writing music.  You can listen to some of Joseph’s music  here.

Linda was born in Indianapolis and has two brothers, one half-brother, two step-sisters, and two half-sisters.  (a truly blended family!)  Her immediate family includes her husband, Mark, sons Jeff (Kristi) and Chris (Kristen), daughter Amy (Aaron), six granddaughters, Brianna, Taelynn, Karina, Alexis, Brooklyn, and Maekenna, and three grandsons, Colin, Jaedren, and Patrick.  Linda attended Indiana University, and worked as secretary at Cumberland UMC for 6 years before coming to LUMC in 1990.  Her passions are reading, traveling, enjoying nature, and being a wife, mother and grandma.

Vicky is the wife of Mark , the mother of Erin and Brad, and the grandmother of four wonderful grandchildren .  She was born in Columbia, Missouri, and has three brothers.  Her hobbies (when she has time) are sewing and cross stitching.  Her dream is to maintain good health so that, upon retiring, she will be able to spend quality time with her husband.

Ryan Davis is married to his wonderful wife Cherish and together they have two sons, Rain and Sky, and a daughter, Violet.  Some of his hobbies include painting, hanging out with his family, the Miami Dolphins, and fantasy football.  In addition to his duties as Youth Director, Ryan is the Director of Lawrence Summer Kids’ Camp here at the church and has worked there since 1998.  Working with youth and children is certainly his passion and we are excited to have him  leading the youth of LUMC.

Emily and her husband Jonathan have lived in the Fishers area for 25 years.  They have three grown children and one grandson.  Since receiving a Bachelor’s degree in music at Butler University, Emily has done freelance accompanying for choirs, soloists and theater groups, as well as teaching piano from her home studio.  In her spare time she likes to take care of her gardens and chickens, read, knit, and she and Jon have recently taken up kayaking.

Bradney McCain is a Foster and Adoption Parent Trainer for the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS). At DCS Bradney is responsible for training families in Marion and Hamilton Counties. Prior to working for DCS Bradney served as a Life Skills Program Director and Family Relationship Trainer in Elkhart Indiana. He developed an interest in social services and education when studying at the University of Indiana. Bradney enjoys listening to, and playing music, and spending time with his wife and two children.
